We use an approach called Results Count™ to help professionals in nonprofits, philanthropy and public systems make positive, measurable change for children and families, whether that means increasing the percentage of children ready to learn in kindergarten or increasing the rate of children in foster care placed with kin over other settings. Results-driven leaders are vital to achieving measurable and lasting improvements for kids and families. The Casey Foundation has honed an approach to leadership development – called Results Count – which is based on a set of five core competencies, two foundational frameworks and two foundational skills that equip leaders to make changes intended to produce results, known collectively as the 5-2-2 approach.
